Dragon Scale Beads with Hayley Tsang Sather

In this one day workshop students will learn the techniques behind Hayley's Dragon Scale series beads. Students will practice creating this very challenging bead using different silver glass and silver glass combinations while being mindful of careful heat control in order to retain the iridescent effect. Instruction will be given on how to use an infinite Rim Marble Mold. Students must be proficient in working with silver glass at an intermediate skill level, and comfortable working on a fuel/oxygen mix torch.
